Villa Baladewa Satu is not an option you want to overlook when planning your Bali vacation. This four bedroom villa with its prime location is something of a hidden gem. One of an exclusive estate of four, 5 star properties, Villa Baladewa Satu with its rice terrace views is a quiet haven from the stress of the modern world.

Poolside and Open Living
The villa was designed by renowned local architect Popo Danes and the architectural influences are essentially contemporary tropical. Villa Baladewa Satu is well appointed and offers all the comforts you would expect at home and as such has universal appeal.

Comfort is king and this is reflected in the amenities at Villa Baladewa Satu, which include a large double sized poolside pavilion with twin king sized mattresses covered in tasteful blue Sunbrella fabric and overhead fan to ensure a flow of air. The pavilion has its own cool box and there is an electrical socket, which is handy for plugging in your iPod, working on your laptop or watching a movie.

Literally a step away from the sanctuary of the pavilion is a refreshing 11m x 3.5m swimming pool which is lined with light-green stone tiles imported from the neighbouring island of Java. The filtration system is chlorine based with a cascading overflow to the garden level.

The split level design of the pool and garden with its coconut palms, bamboo and tropical flora is an interesting concept. In the garden are two sun beds and there are plenty of garden tables and chairs available throughout the villa for you to use.

Living Areas and Bedrooms
Villa Baladewa Satu has two spacious lounges, one open and one enclosed with full air-conditioning and audio/visual facilities including satellite television, DVD player and Bose stereo system. All rooms at the villa are connected by phone via a PABX exchange so if you need to check the children or speak to friends they are only a phone call away.

On the ground floor of the main house is the open lounge with swimming pool and garden views. Upstairs adjacent to the master suite are large double glass paneled doors that open into the upper lounge, which is home to the entertainment system. This room is fully air-conditioned by an LG Art Cool Plasma AC.

The windows can be opened to give the feeling of open living; this is the traditional style which the local Balinese favour. At night the doors can be closed and locked. For extra security the villa is surrounded by a high wall and one of the staff lives in the staff quarters at the rear of the villa so there is always someone home.

There are several places around the swimming pool where you can relax on a sun bed, sit with friends and a drink or enjoy a snack. This is also a great villa for families with older children.
In the lounge there is a stereo system for playing CD's and Satellite TV with over 30 channels including over 5 movie channels, several sports and news channels. There is also a DVD player so you can watch your own movies.
Bedrooms

There are a total of four air conditioned bedrooms at Villa Baladewa Satu. Two master suites, located on the upper floors of the east and the west wing and two guest suites located on the lower level of the west wing.

All of the bedrooms have wooden flooring and are air-conditioned by an LG ArtCool Plasma AC. Each room has been tastefully furnished with solid hardwood fixtures including, large double beds with bedside tables, lamps, wardrobes and chairs. Each of the two ground floor suites with their king size beds can sleep two adults comfortably; the same is true of the spacious master suites. For an additional fee we have a single bed available which is suitable for children. A baby cot and high chair are also available upon request at time of booking.

All bedrooms are complete with built in wardrobes, beautiful marbled bathrooms, the master suites come equipped with a huge oversize bath tubs and have separate shower cubicles. The main master bedroom also comes equipped with a small safe for the security of your valuables.

The ground floor of the west wing is home to the two guest bedrooms, which each have their own private bathrooms complete with showers, wash basin with hot and cold water, and a toilet. These bedrooms overlook the garden at the rear of the villa and have their own private terraces with rice terrace views.

Villa Staff and Facilities
A fully equipped western style kitchen complete with most modern conveniences including, microwave grill, stove top, kettle, coffee machine, juicer, mixer, etc. Also included in the rental fee is a great cook, experienced in both Asian and western cuisine, you simply supply the ingredients and she will prepare and serve your menus and even clean up afterwards. All you need do is enjoy yourselves.

Add to this the attentive household staff, plus your very own Car and Driver and the recipe for a perfect holiday is almost complete. The final elements are its proximity to major tourist attractions: far enough to give an unmistakable sense of privacy yet close enough to access conveniently at your leisure.

The lower lounge is home to the kitchen and dining area which has a large table with eight high-backed chairs, offering garden and pool views, a perfect setting for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

There are also a choice of outdoor dining areas in the garden, which allow you the luxury of choosing where you wish to enjoy your food. A barbeque evening on the garden terrace or poolside with Balinese dancers and Gamelan band is a particular favorite of many of our clients and a cultural experience that should not be overlooked during your stay. Villa Baladewa Satu is blessed with a peaceful atmosphere, a place where you can relax, read, meditate, or simply stretch out and let your mind wander. When the feeling is right we have even been known to arrange a wedding ceremony or blessing at the villa.

Our friendly staff and driver can arrange travel plans for you on the island, including trips into Kuta, Seminyak or short tours and beyond for shopping, golfing, ceremonies. On call massage and spa therapists can also be arranged to visit the villa to provide a variety of spa treatments. The villa is a 15 minute drive to the nearest beach and there are many surfable breaks on the coast from Kuta, including one at Berawa and the famous Canggu break is only a short drive away.
